Psychodrama at the Workplace with Dr. Peter Howie
What Do We Do Now? Using Psychodrama in Everyday Professional Life
In every workplace, there are moments when teams, colleagues, or leaders feel stuck in how they work together. Miscommunication, tension, uncertainty, and the quiet question, what do we do now? can affect both performance and well-being.
These challenges don’t come only from the workplace. They are often shaped by the wider context of life, family responsibilities, financial pressures, health concerns, and the accumulated stress of everyday living. Even small frustrations can influence how we think, respond, and relate to others at work.
This 3-day experiential workshop with Dr Peter Howie offers practical, action-based tools to bring movement into stuck situations. Using psychodrama methods, participants will explore how to improve communication, strengthen leadership, and build more responsive and connected teams.
Psychodrama is a powerful approach for gaining fresh perspective and shifting unhelpful patterns. Through guided practice, participants will:
- Develop awareness of personal and group warm-up
- Understand patterns of behaviour within professional contexts
- Learn practical interventions for real workplace situations
- Build spontaneity, responsiveness, and flexibility in action
- Engage in hands-on experiential exercises using psychodrama techniques
The methods explored extend beyond the workplace and can be applied in families, communities, and everyday relationships.
