An 8-session Course (via Zoom).

In Dec 2020: 5th, 6th/ 12th, 13th/ 19th, 20th/ 26th, 27th (Weekend: Sat/ Sun)
Course Timing : 3pm – 6pm (India Time).

Eligibility: This course is open to all adults who are interested in Psychology.
Course Facilitators:
Dr Eric Miller, Director of World Storytelling Institute and Assistant director of East West center for counselling and training. He was trained in Folklore in Philadelphia (PhD in Folklore from the University of Pennsylvania). And he was trained in Psychology in Chennai (MSc in Psychology from the University of Madras, and One-year course in Psychological Counselling at Chennai Counsellors Foundation).
Ms. Magdalene Jeyarathnam, Founder Director of East West Center for Counselling and Training, She is an Expressive Arts therapist and board certified Psychodramatist. She is currently completing her PEP Certification, she is in the international committee of ASGPP and is also on the board of directors of International Association of Group Psychotherapy and Group Process (IAGP).
Course Description:
Dr Eric would assist participants to bring to mind various kinds of stories — including those related to personal experiences, dreams, fairytales, epics, history, literature, and cinema. He would guide the participants through the Storytelling Therapy process, including by assisting them to compose metaphorical healing / transforming stories for themselves.
Ms Magdalene would assist participants to explore, find meaning, interpretations and deeper messages from their stories through Psychodrama.
