Workshop 1: Decolonizing the Inner World

This 5-day immersive workshop explores Decolonizing the Inner World through the lenses of psychodrama and ethno-psychoanalysis. Ursula Hauser joins Magdalene Jeyarathnam to guide participants through a powerful historical and therapeutic journey.

Together, they will examine how colonial legacies live within our identities, relationships, and collective psyche. The workshop blends experiential group work and reflective action methods, engaging with both postcolonial realities and current systemic imbalances.

Ideal for therapists, activists, artists, and anyone committed to healing with justice, cultural awareness, and deep respect for difference.

Workshop 2- Healing Transgenerational Trauma through Psychodrama

This experiential space invites participants to uncover and release emotional patterns passed down through generations. Using the action-based approach of psychodrama, Magdalene will guide the group in exploring family histories, unconscious loyalties, and inherited narratives — offering opportunities for catharsis, insight, and transformation.

Workshop 3- Living Moreno: A history of modern psychodrama in action

In this transformative 5-day workshop, Sergio GuimarĂŁes, Brazilian psychodramatist and trauma specialist here with to lead participants through the rich terrain of collective trauma, memory, and healing.

Using psychodramatic Participants will engage in deep experiential processes to unpack trauma and reconnect with personal resilience.

Across cultures, the beauty of mending what is broken is deeply honoured — from the Japanese art of kintsugi, where cracks are filled with gold, to the Tamil tradition of vizhupun, where scars are worn as marks of courage. Both see brokenness not as failure, but as a story worth celebrating.
